The NOTO Arts District, and increased community of NOTO is no stranger to web hosting little corporations. But a new proposal introduced to the city council will see the institution of a organization improvement district.
It is hoped the BID will foster additional growth and financial commitment in the district by opening one more income stream for the betterment of the spot. The motion item, which the town council will vote on Tuesday, was introduced by District 1 agent Christina Valdivia Alcala.
According to Thomas Underwood, the NOTO arts district government director, creating a BID is an “equitable” exercise the place all firms add to desires and companies not provided by the city.

Small business district assistance fees would scale with sizing, place

Topeka currently has two BIDs: The downtown BID and the tourism BID. The downtown BID is produced up of a few “cores” and covers a large region that contains most of central Topeka.
